Abigial Gifts
Abigail Housing provides shelter to destitute asylum seekers and refugees who would otherwise be homeless. You can help by giving a friend or family member a special gift to celebrate a special occasion. Each gift represents an item Abigail Housing has to regularly buy in order to provide housing and support to destitute asylum seekers and refugees. Once you purchase a gift, Abigail Housing will send a gift certificate for you to give as a present. Your friends and family members will be grateful to know that someone in need is benefiting on their special day.
Gift Items
Duvet and Pillows - £15When asylum seekers arrive in the UK they often come with out simple necessities, never mind the comforts of a home. A duvet and pillows, is one of the most basic items they need. Rest easy knowing your donation is giving someone in need a peaceful nights sleep.
Bag of Groceries - £20 
Your donation will help Abigail Housing feed destitute asylum seekers and refugees for a week. The kitchens in Abigail houses are always busy, as the residents have no where else to go for meals. They take turns cooking and cleaning, and you can help too by donating a bag of groceries.
Kitchenware- £35Imagine trying to set up a home when you have had to leave everything behind because of war or insecurity! That's what it's like for most asylum seekers and refugees. Starting from scratch is hard but you can help. Your donation will buy pots, pans and other basic necessities so someone with nothing can start building a home.
Hoover - £100 
A Hoover might seem like an odd gift, but it's one of the most expensive necessities that each one of Abigail's houses needs in order to stay clean and comfortable. Donating the cost of a hoover can make a big difference.
